Dr. Tawanda Lawrence is the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction & Technology for Country Club Hills School District 160. Dr. Lawrence attended Eastern Illinois
University where she received a Bachelor of Music Education degree. While
teaching general music at Chicago Public Schools to students in grades K-8, Dr.
Lawrence graduated from Roosevelt University with a Master of Arts degree in Administration
and Supervision. She continued her education
at DePaul University where she received a Doctorate of Education degree in
Educational Leadership. Dr. Lawrence has
over 12 years of administrative experience and assumed the roles of Dean of
Students, Assistant Principal, and Principal at Joliet Public Schools District
86. She believes all students can reach
their highest potential when given the opportunity to achieve in a challenging
and supportive learning environment. As Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology, Dr. Lawrence will provide the students,
staff, and parents of Country Club Hills School District 160 with the support
that is necessary to ensure continuous success.
